Biocant Park is attending Bio-Europe (booth nr 46), which is taking place this week in Leipzig, Germany.

The aim of this participation is to identify market trends, disseminate technologies and establish contacts with companies in the sector from the various countries represented, in order to establish strategic partnerships, license technologies and attract investors.

Bio-Europe is one of the largest events in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical and financial sectors, which promotes the transfer of knowledge and innovation through its annual editions in Europe. This year the meeting will take place between October 24th and 26th, and will gather numerous business leaders from the sector, advanced medical research institutes, Universities and Start-Ups, which will participate in workshops, conferences and "network meetings". The organization of Bio-Europe 2022 proposes an agenda with a variety of workshops and conferences, also allowing participants the possibility of scheduling bilateral meetings.

This participation is included in the proposed activities of the INOVC+ project: Smart Innovation Ecosystem of the Central Region, led by the University of Coimbra and promoted by a broad consortium, of which Biocant is one of the partners. This project is co-financed by Centro 2020, Portugal 2020 and the European Regional Development Fund.
