On the 21th november, Biocant Park welcomed a business mission from the state of Santa Catarina in Brazil, composed of around 30 entrepreneurs.

The visit took place as part of the Business Move mission, with the aim of publicising the potential and opportunities at Biocant Park. The participants were welcomed by the Mayor of Cantanhede, Helena Teodósio, who explained the municipality's economic development strategy, and by the Administrator of Biocant Park, Delfina Moreira, who explained the activities carried out at the park.

Biocant Park has around 600 works, as a result of heavy investment by the Cantanhede municipality. This joint effort has made it possible to create qualified jobs and retain talent in the biotechnology area, positioning Biocant Park as one of the sector's main references.

The Business Move mission was co-organised by the Coimbra Region Intermunicipal Community, the Brazil-Portugal Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Tourism of Santa, CERC - Coimbra Region Business Council and Coimbra City Council.
